Tropico
| Pirate Women |
Pirates believed that having women on board their ship was bad luck. They also believed that whistling on a ship would cause the weather to turn stormy (as in ‘to whistle up a storm’). |

![]() Tropico will be a small family owned SCUBA diving resort... with a pirate theme. We will be specializing in showing our visitors a good time. SCUBA diving, dive safaris, and snorkeling from our house reef or the boat. There are many local island adventures within our vicinity to give you a break from the water. Ever dream about an island adventure? Mountains with natural springs & waterfalls, and lakes in lush green tropical forests. Volcanoes, caves, sandbars, sea mammals (dolphin, and whales) and world class marine sanctuaries. Delicious delicacies, pork , chicken , seafoods , and tropical fruits. Sound like fun ? It gets even better. The Spaniards were here for approx 350 years ., and the Americans for approx 100 years. With hundreds of Catholic Cathedrals and a Basilica to Taoist Temples and World War II Memorials the Philippines 7107 islands have plenty to do. To read about our local area "Dumaguete City" look on our Blog "The Crier" for the article "The city of gentle people" How about a 45 to 1 exchange rate ? Sound even better ? Think about the Philippines ! Asia's cultural blend in the tropics. Currently we are still in the construction stages of this project and will remain so thru 2011. Please feel free to stop by and visit our Photo Gallery from time to time and check on our progress. Oh and get your passport ready !
Thank You ..., Captain Rich and the Crewe. |
